August on Vancouver Island on the inside coast is incredibly. 20+ fish a day on small colorful streamers. my dog Findlay met his first fish that day! pink salmon. while passing through Kamloops BC i stopped for a quick fish with a buddy. Kokanee salmon on the fly. soft mouth but good eats. it was more about the relaxation though. brought in 5 or 6 that day. Jeff Harrup tryes some new patterns fishing in the Kootenay mountains of BC Canada. Fly fishing picture cut throat in the fall start taking streamers as soon as the air cools. flies in front of the camp fire is about as good as it gets. well.... with a rum and coke that is!
