Little photo story from last week. 3 guys meet up at Rena Fishingcamp for som flyfishing in the Rena river. ( www.renafiskecamp.no) Skeptic to the weather forecast with a lot of wind and rain. After 4 days of drifting we landed 97 grayling's and 14 trout's, biggest grayling 1,6 kg and trout 1,8. The weather forecast kept its promise with poring rain and wind, but this triggered the hatches. The caddies hatched heavy all 4 days. The Baetis hatch was extreme 2 days and a little less the following 2 days. All 4 days the Heptagenia Sulphrea triggered rises all over the river. A few Danica turned up when the wind was calm and the sun broke through. The last day it was the Ignita that ruled the Rena river.
