Grandsons, good friends, old friends they all make life better.
In the background Hugh unhooks a big bluefish to be released. Charlie is fishing with half a rod since a bluefish broke it when a knot got caught in a guide. He had non stop fishing along with all of us......he was beat at the end of the day. Ricky with a nice buck shad that ran behind him! Beautiful spring day. My good friend Charlie with a big roe shad. Fishing was slow as night time temps were freezing below 30, in MAY!!!! But we still caught and had a great day. Charlie was 77 last week, we're out in the December surf looking for stripers....Charlie caught one...it was almost 60 degrees! Toar lives in CT but drives down to fish with us, a great guy. Five minutes after this picture a wave knocked him down, it was funny after we knew he was OK. Jerry and Johnny.....two great striper fishermen. Lefty and myself at a fly fishing show, he'll share any info and show you what to do with a smile on his face. A great man. Jody with a shad on and Pat waiting to get in a cast. Johnny with a chromer taken upstate NY in the late fall. Perry with a large steelhead taken upstate NY in the late fall. Alex, a.k.a. Pond Doctor with a nice striper from northern MA sight fishing. Perry with a 32lb + redfish taken in the marsh. Johnny with a one of many stripers he caught this day in the fall on the Cape. Charlie with a nice tarpon caught right off the beach in FL My grandson with a nice carp on his 8lb test spin rod, we have a fly rod ready to go.
