Casa & Playa Blanca guests fish out of 16-foot Dolphin Super-Skiffs, the perfect boat to stalk wary fish on the flats. Our skiffs are smaller and considerably more maneuverable than the traditional pangas used elsewhere in Mexico. Our skiffs also have lean bar capability for those wanting a little added stability up on the casting deck.
Our brand-new fleet of four-stroke 50 HP Yamaha motors are not only fast and dependable, but also much better for the environment than the more common two strokes. To further increase performance and smooth out the ride, we have fitted all motors with Doel-fin hydrofoils.

Fast becoming a spot on every saltwater anglers bucket list, Ascension Bay is a place where all of the stars align. Possibly the best location in the world to accomplish a grand slam, the bay is teeming with all of the flats species year-round. From rivers, lagoons and classic sand flats, there are endless possibilities to wade or fish from the boat.
Situated one hundred miles to the south of Cancun and covering over eight- hundred square miles, Ascension Bay sticks out on the map. Numerous perfect bonefish flats dot the bay, the permit water is endless, and the creek and river inlets in the back of the bay can keep a snook and tarpon fisherman busy for days. Runs from the lodge to the fishing can be anywhere from five minutes to over an hour.
Playa Blanca is a spacious, luxurious lodge with a deep-set covered porch, perfect for reading and relaxing, as well as a roof top sanctuary- a fabulous place for stargazing.
