When people think of fishing in Miramichi River Valley, they instantly think of Atlantic Salmon. New Brunswick does, however, also offer an excellent run of brook trout. The brook trout, a feisty, fighting native of eastern North America, is widely distributed throughout New Brunswick, and resides in cool, clear, streams, lakes, and ponds.

I am fortunate to have fished at the Ledges a couple of times through a friend who is a member. I've always had a great experience ... their waters are very close to the lodge which is convenient, the accommodations terrific with a private bathroom for each bedroom and the food it out of this world! The chef and kitchen team really go out of their way to treat the guests well. Excellent guides who know their waters too.
