Biscayne bay, Keys and the Everglades

Fishing Miami and the Keys in spring can be simply described as spectacular although this season we had lots of wind and over cast days.

Tarpon, bonefish, permit, snook, redfish, barracuda and big jacks were biting hard.

We had days where sight fishing for the big migratory tarpon was virtually impossible due to high winds and cloudy skies but sunny days provided us with multiple shots at big tarpon with several jumped fish and a few landed in the 80 to 160 lb range.
There are baby tarpon in all the predictable places and the bonefish bite has been incredible. We have seen double digit bonefish but were not able to connect and most of the bonefish we caught were in the 18" to 24" range.
