Type of Water: Freshwater
Species: Steelhead
Our Lake Erie Steelhead season is in full swing and our clients are having a blast! This early part of the season has been challenging because of the low clear water flows throughout most of the Lake Erie region. We work really hard to not only find fish but also quality water conditions for our clients. This hard work has paid off and we've been fortunate to have some fish brought to the net and big smiles on our clients faces.

Our most successful flies so far have been eggstasy eggs in many of the popular colors, squrmy wormies in pink and red, stone fly patterns, and white muddy buddy streamers. I personally like using the white streamers for our clients because they are easy to cast and the fish usually stay hooked when they hit them.
