Our 2018 Fall Steelhead season is chugging along and our clients have been catching a lot of fish. Inconsistent rain patterns early in the season forced us to search for prime water conditions in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania and it's paid off for us. We could never make this work without the cooperation and flexibility of our clients and it's the difference maker in having a successful trip and a not so successful trip.

Our most successful fly patterns continue to be our old "stand bye" patterns, which include white Streamers, Econo-dots, Nuke Eggs, Squirmie Wormies, and the White Death fly.

As of this writing, the Fall rains have hit the Great Lakes region raising water levels and bringing in a big push of fresh Steelhead to most of the tributaries. We anticipate good fishing View more...
