MIAMI AND THE EVERGLADES

Hope everybody's safe from covid-19 and back to fishing. We've been guiding lots and long days lately both in Biscayne Bay and Everglades National Park and the fishing was very good. Most days were windy and sight fishing was tough but knowing were to go, you can blind cast the usual spots and catch a lot of fish. We connected with lots of baby tarpon up to 30 lbs. , snook all sizes, slot size redfish and several bonefish in the 4-5 lb. range. The Everglades are super productive if you can cast 40' of line and Biscayne Bay may be more demanding when the wind blows but you can always find a good tarpon and bonefish spot, even during the winter.
