We left from Buenos aires at about 5:00am in the morning travelling up towards Arroyo Seco near the city of Rosario to fish with an extremely experienced dorado guide called Dario Arrieta in his home waters with good friend and fisherman Luis San Miguel. We arrived around 8:00am and quickly prepared everything venturing out into the thick fog that coated the Parana river. We took a short run down stream to one of Dario's favorite spots to begin fishing. We kept a reasonable distance from the bank casting as tight to the bank as possible stripping back to the boat. This was to cover the 2 drop offs situated in this section of the river.
