Río Grande

From: 11/12/2014
To: 11/12/2014
Type of Water: Freshwater
Species: Sea-Trout
As usual the fishing season started the first day of November. And judging by the results achieved by Diego Motter, it looks like it's going to be a very good 2015 Season.

It's been one of the wettest winters in the last few years, so we all expected a big river. Despite the quantity of water, the transparency was quite good! (about two feet of visibility).

The landscape is amazingly green, saturated with humidity, and many of the dry lagoons are now fully charged - perfect for juvenile sea-trout.

Diego landed about a Dozen sea trout and a huge 26 pound Chinook Salmon. The sea trout were between 4 and 14 pounds.

A very long cast was needed to have a chance of connection with the fish. Diego fished with other locals that couldn't reach the zone, so they had zero fish.
