One of the peak moments of the Europe No.1 winter fishing targets - landing a Hucho-hucho salmon with a fly rod! More than two years was needed to target down a King size Hucho and prepare the attack in the day time! This majestic predators are mostly active at dawn/dusk time, when they attack Trout or Grayling from some ambush or in faster currents of the river where the prey has less time to notice their presence.. well prepared team leaded down to the rocky parts of the Sava Bohinjka river did everything "by the book"! The scale stopped at 113cm (45 inch) which was one of the largest representatives landed with a fly rod ever.
