Tie on a grub hook a CDC hackle in half lengthwise.
Wrap the tying thread, to broad coils, around the CDC hackle and the hook.
When I reached the length I wish to have the body of the fly, I go back crossing the turns of tying thread with ones that I wrapped earlier.
I change position to the hook and cutting the tip of hackles, leaving some fiber to get the tails.
I tie a rooster hackle on the other half of the CDC hackle
wrap the rooster's hackle around the CDC hackle.
Put the fly in position to start tying, tie the rooster's hackle on the hook and cut the excess.
tie the head of the fly
Cut the CDC hackle, leaving a part of it.
