GRHE (gold ribbed hare's ear)

I remember a day on the river deveron when a size ten grhe nymph made short work of 11 brown trout. It was the first time I had been river fishing seriously and was an unforgettable day. For those of you who have never come across this fly, it is one to keep in your box for any occasion.
