The most important thing about my guiding is that my customers' happiness is always a priority. I studied psychology so I know how to treat people, and help them get the best experience for their trip. My service is always personal and ambitious.

Just spend 5 days with Maddi. Best fishing trip I have been on.
Maddi is a first class guide.
He has great knowledge about locations he takes you to and techniques required.
On top of that he is a fun person to be with.
Unlike a lot of guides he goes the extra mile.
No doubt about it he is the best fishing guide Iceland has.
Maddi guided four of us in 2016 on our fly fishing trip to Iceland.
As a guide he was very professional and worked hard to ensure that all our needs were met. Some of us were more experienced than others and did not wish for constant supervision, only to be put on the fish, but he was always there to help if we had any questions and wanted to discuss tactics.
For the less experienced fisherman he was invaluable and his knowledge of the rivers, best locations and tactics were invaluable. He took care to ensure that his time was divided fairly so that we all felt that we benefited from having him as a guide.
We all had an amazing holiday, catching loads of brown trout, many of them the largest we had ever caught from a river and he also took us to a lake where we caught our first arctic char.
As a person, he was very easy to get along with, friendly and had a good sense of humour, which only enhanced the experience.
I would now consider Maddi as a friend and look forward to visiting Iceland again someday and having him as my guide again.
I would not hesitate to recommend Maddi to anyone considering a fishing guide in Iceland.

I came from Germany to iceland Last year. I thought i have seen a lot and that i am experienced, but maddi was indeed able to show me a lot more. He has perfect communication skills, he is very calm and polite but also a nice sence of humor. His fishing skills are outstanding. I also met other guides from iceland but they were more interested in my money than to serve me an outstanding experience. What i highly appreciated is, that maddi don't give up in difficult situation. I is challengening himself until his "customer" is successful. Also to mention is, that maddi explains culture and history of iceland. Also he can Five valueable tips for sightseeing (whalewatching tour customized and not in a touristical mass)
Also to mention he is a very carefull driver im case you need him as a driver- relax!
To sum up:
I went to iceland to meet my guide and flew back to Germany after finding a new friend!
You can rely on Maddi!

Hi - we (a group of 4 flyfishermen from germany) spent 4 days with maddi in late spring 2015. He was without a doubt the best guide we ever had. There's no need to talk about his skills as a fishermen - of course he knows the rivers, hotspots, techniques and everything just perfect. BUT he was also wonderful as our personal psychologist: As the conditions on our first days were really lousy and our frustration grew from hour to hour (finally iceland, expensive trip and then cold water and snow and no fish activity) he was able to motivate us again and finally lead us to the best (and most successful) fishing days we ever had. Highly recommended! Flo.
