I am a full time, Orvis Endorsed fly fishing guide through All Water Guides. I am based out of Austin, Texas and Basalt, Colorado where I spend the winter and spring in Texas, and the summer and fall in Colorado.
I grew up in Austin near Lake Travis where I learned to fly fish at an early age. Traversing the local rivers and lakes in search of big fish was what I loved to do most. I was a student athlete at Texas A&M University where I played baseball and competed in two Big 12 Championships and a appearance in the 2011 College World Series. I finished my degree down the road at Texas State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. The fishing opportunities were endless with three spring fed rivers (San Marcos, Blanco and Comal) running through my college View more...town, and the Guadalupe so close by. So it was very difficult to stay away from fishing. After I graduated, I found my calling as a guide. Since then I have been spending over 250 days a year on the water, and look forward to many more. Join me for a day of fishing and experience the best of what central Texas and western Colorado have to offer!
