A very passionate man, Mr Roland Lavallée, help teaching kids in a few different school about the salmon in our rivers. He teaches about respect and love for both nature and people while having a lot of fun. He installs aquariums with a refrigeration system in selected classrooms for a couple months, and then goes to the selected river (in this case, the Jacket River) to let them release the fishes. What a beautiful sight to see all those kids having a lot of fun while learning. This one class happened to be my daughter's fifth grade class and I couldn't miss the occasion to go myself. I gave my daughter a bunch of salmon flies to give one to each kid in her class and I gave a box of flies to Roland for his efforts...and the kids gave him a big salmon! :0)
