Back to sunny Florida after a brutal Fly Fishing show season. Well, not that brutal since I had the chance to fish the Hoh River on the Olympic Peninsula and caught a few hard fighting steelhead.
Anyways, last weekend i had a couple of anglers fishing Biscayne Bay. Even though it was windy (ESE 10 to 15 kt) the water was very clear and we could spot several groups of fish. We had shots at permit, bonefish and sharks but due to the windy conditions and trout skills from my angler we couldn't manage to get a hook up on neither permit nor bonefish. We did catch a couple small lemon and black tip sharks though and a bunch of barracuda since these two species require no fancy precise casting and my angler was very happy with the results.
