The best period to catch chubs on dry fly is april/may/june and then august. Very crystal and low water, so chubs were very selective and very carefully to all things were up the water. That day i was alone to search new places... Not difficult get the bank but very difficult make the right cast and get the right approach... With 8'4" rod for #3.. nice chubs...
