Mission Marble Trout
Mike from United States emailed me with a wish to get a marble trout. Together we made a plan where (Soča and tributaries), fixed his date, which was unfortunately not the best for this species. As the things were not already optimal, we had even more bad luck upon us ... On his booked day, rain was pouring like hell (note: before that we had like two weeks of solid nice weather)... As the weather forecast was much more better for next day we both agreed to postpone fishing for at least one day. Which was wise decision as Soča was day later still quite high and milky.
That's why we tried our luck first at beautiful early tributary of the river Soča, Lepena River ... Fishing was good ... Mike managed to land few solid rainbows and he almost got his first marble t Ver más...Mission Marble Trout

Later in the after noon we tried at the river Soča, with partial success and on the end we even managed few casts in to the river Koritnica, unfortunately without success.
On the end, even so we didn't succeed tricking a marble trout, we had an amazing day in unspoiled nature, with good weather, solid fishing in a good company!
Good reason to come back and try it again, maybe then we'll have a better luck with tricking marble trout!
