CHANGING PLANS WORKED OUT BEST
Started out in the morning fishing the Dream Stream section of the South Platte River. There was still some small areas of ice on 11 Mile Res. Which was keeping the water temps lower than needed to cause the rainbows and cutties to go into full spawn yet. A few fish in the river but not the numbers seen in past years at this time. Did catch three small snake river finespotted cutthroats between 10 to 12 inches.

In the afternoon moved over to 11 Mile Canyon and as soon as we looked in the river could see at least 30 to 40 fish and some of them were paired off spawning.
Threw Pink San Juan Worms size 12-14, Juju Baetis (olive) size 18-20 and white midge pupa with red head size 20-22. Me and my other two fishing buddies hooked 18 fish and land Ver más...
