Recently we have had Gerhard and Evelin from Austria and a group from Singapore fishing with us at the Ecolodge da Barra .
Conditions were perfect andIt was an amazing week with all main species biting very well.
The highlight of the week was the consistence of the Payara activity.
They were everywhere, as beaches, rocks, rapids and streams.
Several good size were hooked up everyday and surface flies as poppers were the best.
Many other species were caught including a Shovelnose sourubin (Cachara).
At the end, Randy Chin from Singapore could’nt resist and used one conventional tackle to catch his very first Redtail Catfish and Jaú.
15 different species were caught this week.
