Fly fishing Tampa Bay and the Central West coast of Florida is a truly unique experience. As a guide I (Court Douthit) put all my energy into helping you have a enjoyable and successful day on the water. Whether it is stalking tarpon along the beaches or poling along a flat looking for tailing reds, slowly cruising snook, and pot hole trout, I maintain a positive attitude and strive to put you on fish. I am on the water almost everyday and am constantly adjusting to give you the best experience possible. My boat and gear are well maintained and ready to match the demands of this challenging but rewarding fishery.

My good friend Adam with a nice mid sized tarpon we sight fished on a recent night trip around Tampa Bay.
Perfect specimen of a snapper that fell for the crab fly. On clear days, we can see schools of these guys off rock piles. They are perfect for beginner anglers and can challenge veterans as well. They are also very tasty.
Large black drum can sometimes be found foraging the flats with their tails in the air and their minds on eating.
Night fishing around artificial light can be very productive as fish gather to feed.
Casting to a pod of tarpon that we could see pushing a wake at first light.
Dr. Jim (Mo Henry) Neilsen patiently awaiting his shot at the silver king.
