History
The Big Hole C4 Lodge was constructed by us, Dave and Cindy Ashcraft. We are third and fourth generation Montana ranchers who both grew up enjoying the beauty and challenges of southwest Montana. We also own and operate a working Montana cattle ranch specializing in raising quality feeder cattle. The ranch has grown to over 600 mother cows and encompasses over 1,000 acres of private land, and over 100,000 acres of public land.
In 2003, we built the Big Hole C4 Lodge in the heart of the ranch's fishing habitat. Our goal is to provide a genuine and true western, fly fishing adventure for our guests.

Miles of Private Water
Come on over to the Big Hole C4 Lodge and fish our waters. Our lodge is beautifully located between the Beaverhead and Big Hole Rivers. A short walking distance from the lodge allows you to fish private sections of our spring creeks; Owsley and Schoolhouse Slough. Directly behind the lodge our guests can enjoy a stocked, still-water pond loaded with Kamloops Rainbow and Brown Trout. The Big Hole C4 Lodge is lucky to be located close to four blue ribbon rivers. The Big Hole, Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Ruby Rivers are less than four miles away.
