This cedar-clad inn on the Margaree river near a profusion of salmon pools, where hospitality and fishing is on the menu at all times. The Margaree river while not only very beautiful is one of the only Atlantic salmon rivers in Nova Scotia that still produces good runs of these greatest of all fish. The Lodge
The Salmon Pool Inn Lodge is a 5 bedroom vacation home with 2500 square feet of living space that accommodates up to 10 guests.
We offer a lounge area on the upper level with a fireplace and satellite television. The lower level features a second lounge in our GastroPub. Guests enjoy the outside patios overlooking the Margaree River for dining and nature watching.
Upstairs, we have 5 bedrooms.
Tompkins Pool Room 1 offers two twin beds with ensuite bathroom.
Garden Pool Room 2 offers two twin beds with ensuite bathroom.
Forks Pool Room 3 offer a queen bed with ensuite bathroom.
Seal Pool Room 4 offers a double bed with shared bathroom next door.
Tidal Pool Room 5 offers a double bed with shared bathroom next door.

The Cottage
The Cottage is a stand alone, one level unit offering a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and another with a double pull out sofa. Recommended for stays of 3 days or more, this unit includes a fully appointed kitchenette and a small private deck overlooking the river.
A great place to stay for golfers, fishermen, snowmobilers, kayakers or anyone who wants to do their own cooking!
