The Krka is one of the most beautiful Slovenian rivers. She is a kind-willed, rural lady which connects the villages along her current. Hospitable to the stranger, she invites with simpl domesticity.
Once there were built dams on the rivesr so that the water behind them pushed the mills and Saws, while today, the remains of the dams are sefe shelters for large trout.
Plenty of food provides fish with quick growth and strong boodies. Numerouse caddisflies/sedges live here, wich by their number and density of offspring exceed the mayflies and stoneflies.
