Weather conditions:
• March showed a great improvement in weather and provided with excellent fishing throughout the month. Temperaturates were in general warm, and wind was much more gentle that the last week of January. Many sunny and warm days provided with excellent action on top and fish were active, cruising and feeding close to shore.

Strobel Lake:
Fishing was very good in most of the month of march. In general, afternoons had more action than mornings, with several remarkable fish over 15 and 20 pounds, with a best of 25,4 pounds caught by angler Ross N.
Barrancoso river:
Running clear and low, first part of the month, and by mid march, increasing it´s level with rain and snow in the upper plateu and mountains, with a great start of the autumm run. Very nice to fish it in upper, mid and lower section, with River walk program providing great fishing (walking mid to low sections).
Best catches were 16 and 15 pounders caught by Bret. M. and Tom B.
Verde lake:
Fishing good in front of the lodge, and to Hidden bay (west side).
Texas lake:
Fishing tough.
Horseshoe lake:
A new favorite among visiting anglers. Close to the lodge, and with excellent fishing, many anglers like to fish that lake several days a week, with lighter rods, and working close to shore, slow striping small streamers, scuds, and big dries close to rocks in the shore, where those fish in most cases feed on scuds.
Potrero lake:
Great action and fantastic catches up to 11 pounds. A great addition for this season
Best catch of March:
Ross N., weighted 25,4 pounds, El Puesto cliffs (guide Nicolas Gomez Lengyel), afternoon, also with two more catches over 20 pounds (22 lbs and 20,5 lbs). That´s a new lodge record of 3 fish of 20 or more lbs in a week. Filippo S. had a beautiful 22,4 lbs.
News:
• Ross N. broke the record of most 20 or more pounds fish in a week, with three (3) catches that tipped the scale, with fish of 25,4 lbs, 22 lbs and 20,5 lbs.
