The Cowichan River Wilderness Lodge is a privately owned, adult oriented lodge and home situated in a natural setting on the scenic Cowichan River. We are located in the town of Cowichan Lake, just a 60-80 minute drive from the major cities of Victoria (to the south) and Nanaimo (to the north). This beautiful log home overlooks a river tributary abounding with fish, otters, beavers and various bird species. As well as 16 acres of private, forested, secluded property, we also offers guests an extensive range of modern conveniences.
Fish Vancouver Island’s most productive freshwater systems with some of the most experienced outfitters in the area. Kenzie and his team of guides have been guiding and fishing these waterways for decades, and know where the fish are and how to catch them. We live on the Cowichan River, so we have access to parts of the river that no other guides do! We can do sections of this river that other guides can’t. Don’t be dissapointed with someone else when you can’t drift a certain section of the river because your guide can’t pull his boat out there!
We specialize in customized fishing trips, so whether you are an expert or just learning, regardless of your age, we have a qualified guide to make your fishing trip successful.
